Comprehensive Info on Therapeutic Massage Careers

Education and Training You Can Actually Use

Get access to high quality courses that teach you concrete massage therapy skills. You'll impress both your clients and employers when you come to Health Enrichment Center. 

Get Your State License

Check your state for local licensing requirements. As of 2014 - the State of Michigan requires all massage therapists to be licensed. Click here for specific requirements. Once you have completed all educational requirements, you may begin the process for your Sof MI - LMT license application.


After sending in your State License application and money to the state, you may apply for the required State of MI Massage Board License Exam (MBLEX). Sandy has also authored an excellent guide and resource to help prepare you for taking the MBLEX - it is available for purchase here: Mosby's Massage Therapy Review, 4th Ed.

 

You will also be required to submit a "Supervised Curriculum Form" to Health Enrichment Center, Inc. Please complete this form, and mail to HEC at 204 E. Nepessing, Lapeer, MI 48446 with a $10 (check or C/C) administration fee. We will then complete the necessary information and submit it and your transcript to the state for processing.

Documentation Requests

HEC is also happy to provide additional official transcript copies and copies/originals of your Diploma. Please fill out this form: HEC Transcript/Diploma Request Form, and we will return the required documents via USPS. Costs for these are as follows:

  • $10ea. Official Transcript (Seal Embossed) copy or copy of Diploma
  • $20ea. Original Diploma Reproduction
