Health Enrichment Center, Inc. (HEC, Inc.) has been a Michigan state-licensed school since 1985. HEC, Inc. is approved by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education provider under Category A.
In 1995 HEC, Inc. received accreditation from the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT)* and college credit transfer toward college associates and bachelors degrees in massage therapy, through an articulation agreement with Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan. In 1999 HEC, Inc. developed its first professional educational partnership with the NFL team the Detroit Lions.
HEC, Inc. is an institution dedicated to the concentrated instruction and learning of massage therapy and other bodywork training. HEC, Inc. offers extensive and varied curriculums in bodywork training. HEC, Inc. offers a rich source of studies and a variety of options for scheduling dates, providing the student with many alternatives for fitting the training into their busy lives. Sandy Fritz, owner/director, is the author of the leading textbook line for therapeutic massage published by Mosby, An Affiliate of Elsevier.
*HEC is approved by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education provider. Separate continuing education workshops on multiple bodywork areas are offered independently. Workshops are not approved by ACCSCT.
